Recruitment

Recruitment

At Explora haven, we know that working within the care sector is much more than just a job. Joining us opens the door to a rewarding, long-term career that brings the great satisfaction of supporting people to live meaningful lives either independently or within a residential setting.

The calibre of our care workers is essential to the quality of the support we provide. That is why we value our staff and are committed to their ongoing training and development, alongside their day-to-day job of delivering home support and personal assistance.

Equal opportunities

As an equal opportunities employer, Explora Haven ensures that no job applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of age, sex, disability, nationality, race or ethnic origin, religion or belief (or lack thereof), sexuality, marital or civil partnership status or transgender status, or is disadvantaged by conditions or requirements that are not essential for carrying out the job.

Registration

We register a number of care workers, all of whom have undergone a Disclose and Barring Service (DBS) and reference checks prior to our employing them.

The security, safety and peace of mind of our clients, many of whom are made vulnerable by their age or health condition, are paramount.

All our new care workers attend full induction training before they start working independently with our service users and this includes time being trained on site by an experienced care worker as well as shadowing, after completing our robust care induction and pre-QCF training in Health and Social Care.
