Live in Care

a) Are finding it increasingly difficult to manage between daily visits from a careworker
b) Are looking for an alternative to moving into a residential home
c) Have spent time in hospital or have been unwell and need extra support while recovering strength, mobility and confidence
d) Are living with a progressive long-term condition or chronic illness, such as dementia, heart disease or Parkinson’s disease, leading to changing needs over time.

At Explora Haven, we look in detail at your support needs and the way you want to live your life in assessing how we can best assist you and the costs involved. If you then choose to work with us, you can be sure that we are committed to ensuring you live your life as you choose, from your personal care and the meals you eat to getting out and about and entertaining visitors with appropriate support given as required.

The safety, dignity and peace of mind of Explora Haven live-in clients is paramount, which is why all our staff are directly employed by us, after undergoing Disclosure and Barring Service and reference checks. They receive full training on initial employment, along with ongoing training, and are supervised, monitored and supported by our field-based supervisors.

For continuity of our live-in care, we have established systems in place for providing relief care workers when members of your regular team are on holiday or in the event of an emergency.
