What we stand for

Our core mission is to give support to people with Mental Health Difficulties who are at the point of transitioning into the community bespoke services that will enable them gain control and choice over their lives, in a warm and homely environment.

Who we are

Our new Supported Living Service facility that is now open in Chingford, Epping London E4, 7RA known as Amesbury Mead House, is run by our sister organisation and trading as a direct affiliate with Explora Haven. The sister company is known as ExKof Properties Limited. ExKof Properties Limited works together with Explora Haven, and is progressively working together to provide a wide range of highly motivated social care workers at the facility. The service we provide help people to enjoy the benefits of living independently in a homely environment that encourages smooth transitioning into the community. Our local office in London provides a wide range of care and support services, tailored to each individuals’ needs and requirements.
Our delightfully warm Amesbury Mead Farm Home welcomes people who are recovering from severe mental Health difficulties who are at a point of transitioning into the community.

Our team of dedicated, compassionate and friendly support workers are committed to providing for our service users with empathy and understanding. We are passionate about understanding the care needs all our service users. Our approach to delivery care cantered is on the needs of the individual and we ensure that their care and support are tailored to the needs. We understand the importance of being in control of your own life and care, our services to promote choice which will empower them to acquire more independence.

The aim of our service is worker with service users and their families and partner agencies to create a bespoke support package guided by the principles of person-centred planning.

Through our key work sessions, we aim to build on independent skills of our service users by exploring the following areas self-care, laundry, cooking, budgeting and activates to enables the service integration back into the community.

Our services

As stated above, our luxury home supported living facility  is located in a sort-after location in Epping Forest District Council. The home benefits from spacious and fully furnished bedrooms with large spacious bathrooms and showers shared among the residents. Our delightful Amesbury Mead Farm Home has a lovely spacious kitchen with 2 large receptions and a beautifully decorated conservatory that serves as activity and sensory room for all our service users when needed. This delightful Home also benefits from a large garden and shares Stables that creates a recreational and calming therapeutic activity as well for all our residents. The home has 24/7 security monitoring system and is fully alarmed for added security for both residents and staff at all times.

Our approach to service delivery is:

1. Bespoke and tailored to individual needs with individually allocated Key workers
2. person-centred planning
3. promote choice to empower and acquire more independence.
4. build on independent skills in areas of self-care, laundry, cooking, budgeting and activates to enables the service integration back into the community
5. One to one key work sessions with an allocated key worker
6. Tailored activities within the community
7. Referral to partner agencies such occupational therapist for hencement of independent skills
8. Referral for therapeutic services for programs such CBT and DBT
